For the past three consecutive years, the Maalot-Tarshiha Municipality has organized
an annual International Sculpture Symposium known as "Stone in the Galilee."

This very special artistic event hosts sculptures from Israel and all over the world,
who stay at Maalot-Tarshiha for three weeks and sculpt open-air exhibits and
sculptures out of local Galilee stone on the site, which is attended by many
visitors every year.

We are presently preparing for the Tenth International Sculpture Symposium, which
will be held in September- October 2004 in Ma'a lot.

We are inviting professional sculptors from Israel and abroad to submit proposals
and sketches for sculpting sculptures during the Tenth International Sculpture
Symposium, in accordance with the conditions/criteria noted here.
