In the mid seventies, I decided together with a group of young people, residents of the place, to take the fate of the place and the responsibility for the future of its residents into our own hands.
From that point until today, Ma'alot Tarshiha is experiencing an unprecedented developmental elevation of demography, society, community and economics.
From being a local council, we have transformed into a mother city in the country of Israel.
I am proud to lead a town that excels in advanced economical development, innovative education systems and a rich community-life.
Ma'alot Tarshiha is characterized by coexistence and harmony between Arabs and Jews, religious and secular, Olim and natives, between man and his natural surroundings.
The municipal site has been upgraded and it is an important part of the improvement of services for your use and enjoyment.
